UNISON MACHINE REBUILD PROGRAM


We offer a Factory Rebuild Program for all equipment originally manufactured by Unison. It has been our experience completely rebuilding your existing equipment can be one of your most cost-effective alternatives. Your machine will be brought back to original factory specifications and upon completion of our work, your grinder will both look and perform "like new".

What you can expect from Unison's Factory Rebuild Program for CNC Machines:
  • Teardown and rebuild your existing machine; repairing or replacing any worn or non-working components
  • Rescrape and hand flake the X, Y & Z axis machine ways
  • Repair or replace X, Y & Z axis ballscrews and related bearings, seals, etc.
  • Replace worn out electrical components as required
  • Supply and install new Programmable Keyboard
  • Furnish new Color Flat Panel Monitor
  • Install new Yaskawa AC servomotors and drive amplifiers on all axes
  • Install new servo drive motor adaptors, as required
  • Rewire machine and electrical panels to accommodate AC motors and drive amplifiers
  • Rebuild grinding spindle motor, if required
  • Evaluate machines' Computer Control and replace/repair components as needed

What you can expect from Unison's Factory Rebuild Program for DedTru® Fixtures:

Unison provides a complete Factory Rebuild Program for DedTru Fixtures. When you send a DedTru Unit to Unison for complete rebuilding, it is thoroughly evaluated, disassembled, cleaned and inspected. All parts which do not pass inspection are replaced. Under routine conditions, your DedTru Unit will be completed within one week of its arrival at Unison. Faster turn-around times for factory rebuilds of DedTru's is available if you should experience an emergency breakdown.

A complete factory rebuild of a Model C DedTru Fixture includes disassembly, inspection and replacement of the following items as required: bearings, seals, spindles, blade adjustment screws, pressure roll spring and locknuts, o-rings, wiper, drive belt, front & back belt covers, motor cover, sheaves, knurled nuts, rest plate stud, coolant tubes, petcock, switch boots, dial, spindle bolt and regulating roll. We will either rebuild or replace your pivot block and blade holder assembly. Your DedTru Fixture will be sandblasted and completely repainted before being returned to you.
